This round-tined hand fork is ideal for working in heavy or clay soils. The slender pointed tines (prongs) are specially hardened and tempered to withstand tough cultivating, while their round shape offers less resistance to the soil than flat tines, allowing them to slide more easily through challenging soils. The strong high-carbon steel features a textured powder coating in a distinctive antique bronze colour to protect from corrosion.
The tang (or neck) is precision forged to the perfect angle for ergonomic working, and the solid brass ferrule with etched logo ensures a secure connection with the FSC® ash handle, with a touch of timeless style. There’s a strong leather cord for hanging, to keep things tidy in the shed.
Like all our National Trust tools, this round-tined hand fork carries a ten year guarantee. By purchasing these tools, you are helping the National Trust look after special places for ever, for everyone.
