All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this blog, briefly outlining your plans for your garden in 2021. Scroll to the bottom of this page to comment (your email address won't be published). You’ll also need to be a subscriber to our monthly email newsletter to be a winner, so if you're not already signed up, fill in your email address in the grey band right at the bottom of this page. You can unsubscribe at any time if you don’t enjoy our monthly updates.
Your plans for your 2021 garden might be simple - ours is to plant more white flowers in the wildlife bed, to keep the all-day buffet going after dark so the moths can enjoy it too. You may want to grow more of your own fruit and veg next year, or branch out into new and unusual crops. Perhaps you have your eye on trying some heritage varieties of familiar favourites.
Or you might have grander plans - a new greenhouse, perhaps, to accommodate the ever-growing plant population in your garden. Or perhaps grander still, if you're lucky enough to have the space to play with - maybe a wildlife pond, landscaping a terrace on a gradient, or planting a copse of native trees... Whatever gardening vision you see in your mind's eye, we'd love to hear about it!

This giveaway is open to UK residents over the age of 18 only. No purchase necessary. No cash alternative is available. The winner will be chosen on the basis of the most inspiring gardening plans for 2021 and the judges’ decision will be final. One winner will receive one (1) pack of gardening tools from Burgon & Ball, either the Avid Allotmenteer of the Gorgeous Gardener prize as outlined above. Prize draw opens at 00:01 on 28/12/2020 and closes at 23:59 on 03/01/2021. Winner will be contacted by Burgon & Ball shortly after the closing date. Employees of Burgon & Ball and their family members aren’t eligible to win. One entry per person; entries created by a bot or a service that automatically enters participants are not eligible to win. We’re going to start growing vegetables again, now the kids are that little bit older, we have more time / they can get involved with us / join in, as a family, with the state of the world at the moment, its a moment of escape & great for making memorys – reaping what we sow!
Completely start again! We have finished renovating the house so now time to start on the garden. It is currently mainly mud and weeds, so we would like to put down new turf, and lots of bee friendly flowers.
We plan to grow as much of our fruit and veg as we can this year and we are hoping to get our wonderful grandchildren involved with helping us too!
As a freelance writer living at the heart of Kent, I live a fairly nomadic life at the best of times. And rather ironically, being situated in the so-called ‘Garden of England’ had never struck me as something that I ought to take advantage of. So in a bid to expand my social circle (safely of course) whilst simultaneously getting back in touch with my roots (the horticultural sort, in my case), I intend to rekindle my affection for all things green and growing with a small plot at my local garden allotment. Watch out, Titchmarsh!
