All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this blog, briefly outlining your plans for your garden in 2021. Scroll to the bottom of this page to comment (your email address won't be published). You’ll also need to be a subscriber to our monthly email newsletter to be a winner, so if you're not already signed up, fill in your email address in the grey band right at the bottom of this page. You can unsubscribe at any time if you don’t enjoy our monthly updates.
Your plans for your 2021 garden might be simple - ours is to plant more white flowers in the wildlife bed, to keep the all-day buffet going after dark so the moths can enjoy it too. You may want to grow more of your own fruit and veg next year, or branch out into new and unusual crops. Perhaps you have your eye on trying some heritage varieties of familiar favourites.
Or you might have grander plans - a new greenhouse, perhaps, to accommodate the ever-growing plant population in your garden. Or perhaps grander still, if you're lucky enough to have the space to play with - maybe a wildlife pond, landscaping a terrace on a gradient, or planting a copse of native trees... Whatever gardening vision you see in your mind's eye, we'd love to hear about it!

This giveaway is open to UK residents over the age of 18 only. No purchase necessary. No cash alternative is available. The winner will be chosen on the basis of the most inspiring gardening plans for 2021 and the judges’ decision will be final. One winner will receive one (1) pack of gardening tools from Burgon & Ball, either the Avid Allotmenteer of the Gorgeous Gardener prize as outlined above. Prize draw opens at 00:01 on 28/12/2020 and closes at 23:59 on 03/01/2021. Winner will be contacted by Burgon & Ball shortly after the closing date. Employees of Burgon & Ball and their family members aren’t eligible to win. One entry per person; entries created by a bot or a service that automatically enters participants are not eligible to win. We draw your attention to our privacy policy here. Please note that due to the current exceptional circumstances arising from the Covid-19 virus and associated global supply chain issues, it may take longer than the usual 28 days to despatch the prize to the winner. We completely dug up our garden and levelled it out during lockdown. We laid artificial grass and made raised beds all around the outside. We now plan to put decking at the front and plant some lovely shrubs/bushes/plants in the raised beds
I intend to build a wildlife pond. Wildlife needs looking after and i intend to do my bit. Surrounded by bee friendly plants.
We’d love to get our garden flattened in 2021 – it is on quite a hill, which makes it tricky especially as we have young children :)
I plan on painting all garden furniture, bug hotels and bird houses in rainbow colours, planting bright flowers along my side planters, planting herbs in my wall troughs, and redoing my slippy algae covered decking. Maybe adding a water feature…
I love having all round seasonal interest in my garden, so it will be analysing it and seeing out I can add more colour and interest, especially with seasonal containers. I would also love to try my hand at growing vegetables to be more sustainable. thanks
