North & South American Patterns

This collection of sheep shears includes the unique ‘Red Shank’ shear, used only in this part of the world. It has a slender design and ‘swaged’ blades, sharpened on both sides of each blade, to slide easily into and through the fleece, for maximum shearing speed. The ‘Montevideo’ premium shear’s blades are also slender and swaged, and crafted from thicker gauge steel to give strength without the need for a turnover at the base of the blade, for the smoothest penetration of fleece.

The collection includes double bow soft-squeeze patterns, ideal for working on fine fleece, as well as single bow designs for the firmer squeeze of an excellent multi-purpose shear. All shears can be supplied ‘bent’ if required, to keep knuckles away from the fleece.
